 ±  The GIS Feature Collection Module (GFCM) is a SoftPlotter option that    ±
 ±  greatly enhances the efficiency with which features and their            ±
 ±  associated GIS data can be collected. It is especially useful in         ±
 ±  instances where a specific, well-defined set of collection parameters    ±
 ±  are known and consistency in collection is absolutely critical, such as  ±
 ±  when collecting features which comply to the NGA Feature Attribute       ±
 ±  Coding Catalog (FACC).                                                   ±
 ±  GFCM is used in conjunction with Bentley MicroStation and any industry   ±
 ±  standard database (for storing attribute information). GFCM works with   ±
 ±  SoftPlotter's DGN tool and seamlessly handles communication between      ±
 ±  SoftPlotter, MicroStation, and the database to ease the collection of    ±
 ±  coverages, features and attributes for a GIS product.                    ±
