   "Avotor’s debut release was Looming, on Kog in 1999. Following that were 
   various Concord Dawn remixes, the Collectow March/Freezeover limited 
   edition 8” Acetate (Crawlspace Records 2000), and the Illoming E.P on Kog 
   in 2001. 

   "Billion is their second full-length album. Intense hard-edged electronic 
   soundscapes and driving beats dictate a heavy tone. I liked second track 
   ‘Frathem Phi’, and the ambient moments amidst the sonorous droning of 
   ‘Crimson Wave’. ‘Impass’ scythes through different sonic planes, tears 
   at the surface of the sounds over the top of a base and drum loops. The 
   result is a rather nasty track that hooks you in. Encapsulating the idea 
   that music does not need to conform to a generic form to sound good, 
   Avotor create music that is a hybrid of forms. ‘In Silver Drown’ is a 
   gruelling song right in the middle of the album but is followed by the 
   more mellow ‘Creepers’. I enjoyed the dark, mellower moments on this 
   recording the most, although they were few and far between."
