º Complete Freeform Modeling and Inspection Technology

º The primary module offering, Imageware Surfacing, is a powerful and 
º intuitive surface creation tool for direct creation of freeform 
º surfaces from curves, surfaces, or measured point data. The flexible 
º design environment supports both Bezier and NURBS surface patch 
º layout. Dynamic surface modification tools allow design changes to be 
º explored interactively to immediately visualize the aesthetic and 
º engineering implications of the design. The creation tools offer a 
º mechanism for developing anything from rapid to high-quality surfaces 
º including surfaces with the high accuracy and smoothness required of 
º automotive Class A. Efficient continuity and constraint management 
º tools maintain surface-to-surface transitions up to curvature
º  continuity.

º Real-time diagnostics provide a complete suite of quality analysis 
º tools. These tools are instrumental in identifying surface curvature 
º and highlights used to detect surface flaws, deviations and 
º imperfections. Additionally, Imageware digital validation tools 
º include checking for machining capability, parting lines and surface 
º gaps, to identify design flaws before data is released to downstream
º  processes.

º A second primary module, Imageware Inspection, is a versatile and 
º easy-to-use 3D measurement system that compares physical parts to 
º nominal CAD models. Deviation analysis in both graphical and textual 
º reports are available for interpretation of results, reports can be 
º shared in a web standard pdf format for enterprise communication. In 
º addition, the Inspection module provides a comprehensive set of tools 
º to handle optical sensor point clouds and discrete CMM measurement 
º data. The point processing allows the user to clean up, sample, 
º filter, merge, cross section, offset, project point sets, extract 
º points and compute dimensions for critical features and edges. This 
º is critically important, particularly when processing thousands or 
º perhaps millions of points typically collected from today's optical
º  scanners.
