Û The Frequency Analyzer provides a powerful new way to Û
Û look at the frequency content of audio material in Û
Û real-time, as it plays in the SAWStudio MultiTrack. Û
Û You may patch the analyzer into any input track to Û
Û view individual signals, or into any output track, Û
Û where you can see the combined mix of multiple Û
Û signals, or still see any individual signal by using Û
Û the solo buttons on the virtual console. Û

Û The Analyzer has a powerful interface that displays Û
Û 50 individual bands of hi-resolution frequency Û
Û filters. The meters respond in exact real-time and Û
Û the response decay rate may be adjusted to four Û
Û different speeds. Û

Û The 50 filter center frequencies are automatically Û
Û calculated in a logarithmic manner from the center Û
Û filter out in both directions. You may further adjust Û
Û any filter frequency to an exact value in one-cycle Û
Û increments. Any filter can be selected as the center Û
Û filter and the display can be recalculated from Û
Û there. The display can be zoomed horizontally to Û
Û narrow down the range that the 50 filters cover, Û
Û giving unlimited control as to where you focus your Û

Û The level range of the meter display can be offset Û
Û from zero dB down to an incredible -132 dB. The Û
Û display can also be zoomed vertically to narrow down Û
Û the dB range that the meter segments cover, from a Û
Û default range of 45 dB to as little as 4 dB. This Û
Û allows readout displays of 1dB to span across Û
Û multiple meter segments giving incredible detailed Û
Û display possibilities. Û

Û The bandwidth of the 50 filters can be adjusted from Û
Û one octave down to a very tight .005 octaves. This Û
Û allows you to create displays that can separate very Û
Û small frequency differences between bands, even the Û
Û ability to see different notes of the musical scale Û

Û A freeze button allows you to freeze the display Û
Û during playback to look at the details of each Û
Û filter. Û

Û A powerful Listen option allows you to listen in on Û
Û any single filter or combination of filters to find Û
Û troublesome tonal areas of a particular instrument or Û
Û mix. You can then get an exact readout of the Û
Û troublesome frequency and know exactly how to adjust Û
