         Û  When creating  Toraverb, we  did not  base it  on any  Û
         Û  current reverb unit available  in the market. We  did  Û
         Û  not implement any “off-the-shelf” algorithm. Toraverb  Û
         Û  is not a classic type reverb unit like spring,  room,  Û
         Û  hall  or  plate.  Toraverb  is  a  concept  algorithm  Û
         Û  reverb. Using a set of easily accessible  parameters,  Û
         Û  it allows the user to create practically ANY type  of  Û

         Û  Our goal  was to  create a  reverb which  would sound  Û
         Û  pleasant  to the  listener and  the output  could be   Û
         Û  tweaked in many different ways by the user.            Û

         Û  Reverb is a critical  effect in a mix.  Final results  Û
         Û  depend on the reverb  algorithm used and the  quality  Û
         Û  of the  implementation. Usually  reverb is  used as a  Û
         Û  send  effect  in which  many  channels in  a  mix are  Û
         Û  routed to it.  If a low  quality plug-in or  hardware  Û
         Û  unit  is  used,  the  end  results  can  sound   very  Û
         Û  disappointing with the  reverb tail sounding  like it  Û
         Û  had been “ripped-off” in the mix.                      Û

         Û  In Toraverb, we  applied diffusing algorithms  of the  Û
         Û  highest possible quality  based on modified  all-pass  Û
         Û  filters.  By  doing  this  and  using  properly tuned  Û
         Û  parameters, we can almost entirely eliminate unwanted  Û
         Û  flutter echo effects for every sound source.           Û

         Û  Toraverb  is  equipped with  two  independent, single  Û
         Û  band, fully parametric equalisers. One is used to  EQ  Û
         Û  early   reflections  and   the  other   to  EQ   late  Û
         Û  reflections.  This  is an  incredibly  useful feature  Û
         Û  which allows a lot  of control over the  character of  Û
         Û  the reverb to give the most natural sound.             Û

         Û  Toraverb also has an additional modulation  parameter  Û
         Û  which  affects  the  diffusing  filters.  These   are  Û
         Û  responsible for the  distribution of the  sound waves  Û
         Û  reflections in time. By changing the modulation,  the  Û
         Û  sound of  the reverb  tail can  be altered  to give a  Û
         Û  more realistic effect of sound propagation.            Û

         Û  To give  a better  impression of  physical space,  we  Û
         Û  have added an innovative spatial reflection algorithm  Û
         Û  to  Toraverb.  It  improves  spatial  reflections  by  Û
         Û  allowing  cross-talking  of  reflected  stereo  waves  Û
         Û  between stereo channels. This models what happens  in  Û
         Û  the real world when a sound audible only in the  left  Û
         Û  ear is reflected and is heard in both ears.            Û
