º The Drivers Daily Log program implements the requirements of the Federal   º
º Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) PART 395 - HOURS OF SERVICE OF    º
º DRIVERS. DDL always has the “most current” Federal DOT interpretations.    º
º Changes are updated as needed . It helps to produce the Driver's Record of º
º Duty Status - the Log Book (RODS). The program takes the power of the      º
º computer and applies a convenient entry of duty status data, displays that º
º data in the "classic" Driver's Daily Log format, and prints the signature  º
º ready log pages for submission to your motor carrier,  and if necessary,   º
º DOT inspectors.  DDL also implements the 'adverse conditions' provision    º
º that allows +2 hours to driving time. DDL has the new 2005 rules as        º
º default.                                                                   º

º DDL implements the most common intrastate rules for Florida, California,   º
º Alaska, Washington, Texas, and Illinois.                                   º
º                                                                            º
º The program implements the rules as defined in the 'Commercial Vehicle     º
º Drivers Hours of Service Regulations, 1994'. The special Permits driver    º
º regulations have not been implemented yet. The 60th Parallel driver rules  º
º have been implemented as an option.                                        º

º DDL implements the most common intra-province rules for Alberta,           º
º Saskatchewan, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territory.                        º

º DDL will also produces a Monthly Summary of hours worked which includes    º
º Hours of Service Violations if any. The program implements the 11 Hour,    º
º 14 Hour,  Split Sleeper Berth rules, 34 Hours restart, and 60hrs/7days,    º
º and 70hrs/8days rules. These rules are used to analyze the duty status     º
º data allowing the driver to better plan for Trips and their day.           º
º In addition, the program provides for California intrastate drivers,       º
º Alaska drivers, and the special provisions for Oil Field, Well Operations, º
º Construction, and Utility drivers that can reset the clocks with 24        º
º consecutive off duty hours. The program will also do Noon to Noon log      º
º sheets.                                                                    º

º With the use of ‘grid markers’ a driver can see where the 11/14 hours,     º
º S1-for 1st Sleeper (which excludes from the 14 hours), S2 for the 2nd      º
º sleeper (which allows a driver to drive again), 10 hours breaks, so the    º
º driver knows when the 11/14 hours clock resets, 34 hours restart, and when º
º 60/70 hours violations will occur.                                         º

º DDL will also show how long the driver has been in violation, the rule     º
º that is being violated, and which FMCSA code is being violated in the      º
º remarks section, and can be printed on the log and grid.                   º
