Images
Your images are at the core of your
slideshow. High image quality is very
important.
Use the images from your iPhoto library.
Use the images from your Apple Aperture or
Adobe Lightroom libraries (Pro only).
Drag & drop image files from other apps
(e.g. iViewMedia Pro) directly into the
stage or the storyboard.
Use images from any folder on your hard
drive.
Insert Blank slides if needed.
FotoMagico supports most file formats,
every image format that QuickTime can read,
including RAW.
Images are displayed with highest possible
image quality (will depend on your graphics
card).
Adjust the color of an image for use in the
FotoMagico show. The original file is not
changed (Pro only).
Drag & drop images in the timeline to
easily change the order.
Select images in the timeline and set some
parameters in the Options panel - for all
images at once, or for each image
individually.
Scale, rotate and position images on the
stage to fit the screen size of the
slideshow.
Use Pan & Zoom to create stunning
animations for static images.
Use "Randomize Pan & Zoom" to create
slideshows with just a few clicks.
Pan & Zoom also gives you a chance to use
"difficult" vertical images on your
widescreen display.

Movies
FotoMagico 3.0 adds support for QuickTime
movies. Add a movie clip directly to your
slideshow. Movies can be animated just like
regular image slides.
Titles
Emphasize your message by adding animated
titles with powerful text features.
Pan & zoom titles independently of the image.
Crisp and clear rendering at any resolution.
Use all features of the Mac OS X text
engine such as international characters and
inline images.
Can be used to overlay a copyright message
or company logo on every slide.
Drag & drop text files (RTF or RTFD) onto
the stage area to create titles.
Transitions
FotoMagico offers many cool transitions:
Cut, Fade, Dissolve, Linear Wipe, Circular
Wipe, Angular Wipe, Slide, Push, Twirl,
Zoom, Aperture, Flip, Cube, Shuffle, Topple
and Thumb Through.
Control timing independently for all
transitions in the slideshow.
Intuitively adjust visual aspects for each
transition.
Color
Adjust the color (Pro only) of an image
non-destructively; e.g., for matching white
balance or assimilating the skin tone of a
series of photos. Non-destructively means
the color is adjusted for presentation and
export, but the original image file is not
changed.
ICC color profiles are respected on screen
slideshows or when exporting.
Audio
The sound sets the mood of your
presentation. With FotoMagico, it is easy
to get the effect you want.
Use up to three audio tracks, dedicated for
Music, Sound Effects and Narration (Pro
only).
Record narration directly during the
presentation (Pro only).
Audio Ducking helps to ensure that the
music is lowered while a narrator is
speaking (Pro only).
Use any sound file present on your file
system.
Use the songs from your iTunes library or
playlists.
Use songs purchased from the iTunes Music
Store for live slide shows. (iTunes songs
with DRM prevent FotoMagico from exporting
these songs to movies.)
Search for tunes with a powerful search
field and adjust display to easily find
songs.
A song can be played for just one, or
multiple images.
Place an audio item beneath the slides and
adjust the length of the slides to the
duration of the audio item.
