²Û² production environment, optimized for the latest in ²Û²
²Û² computer technology, such as multi core processors to ²Û²
²Û² allow parallel execution of instruments and effects to ²Û²
²Û² limit your projects only by your imagination. DarkWave ²Û²
²Û² allows for complex arrangement and interconnection of ²Û²
²Û² machines within it's Studio by allowing machines to be ²Û²
²Û² wired together in ad-hoc fashion. ²Û²

²Û² DarkWave Studio has four main components. The Studio, ²Û²
²Û² the Pattern Editor, the Sequencer, and the HD Recorder. ²Û²
²Û² ²Û²
²Û² Studio: This is where all the instruments and effects ²Û²
²Û² (machines) are created, connected and modified. From ²Û²
²Û² within the studio you can add machines available to ²Û²
²Û² DarkWave such as DarkPlug machines included with ²Û²
²Û² DarkWave and VST instruments and effects developed by ²Û²
²Û² third parties. To add a machine you simply right click ²Û²
²Û² in an empty space of the studio, select a machine from ²Û²
²Û² the pop up menu, and it will be added to your project ²Û²
²Û² and immediately accessible from the studio and in the ²Û²
²Û² pattern editor. All machines ultimately must connect to ²Û²
²Û² Master for them to process, which is the output machine ²Û²
²Û² automatically created for all new projects. To make ²Û²
²Û² connections hold down shift and drag from one connector ²Û²
²Û² to the other. ²Û²
²Û² ²Û²
²Û² Pattern Editor: The pattern editor is where patterns are ²Û²
²Û² created to send control messages (like MIDI messages) to ²Û²
²Û² control instruments. Either notes or voices are ²Û²
²Û² displayed on the left hand column of a pattern. ²Û²
²Û² ²Û²
²Û² Sequencer: The sequencer is where patterns are queued, ²Û²
²Û² much like notes played in the pattern editor. Simply ²Û²
²Û² select a machine's sequence track by clicking on the ²Û²
²Û² title of the track displayed on the left hand side of ²Û²
²Û² the sequence grid, and insert patterns to be played in ²Û²
²Û² whichever order you desire by selecting them from the ²Û²
²Û² pattern list and clicking within the sequence grid. To ²Û²
²Û² remove patterns from the sequence select the Remove ²Û²
²Û² Pattern button on the toolbar. To add patterns again ²Û²
²Û² reselect the Add Pattern button. ²Û²
²Û² ²Û²
²Û² HD Recorder: The HD Recorder is a multitrack capable ²Û²
²Û² hard disk recorder for streaming audio data from HD ²Û²
²Û² Recorder Track machines in the studio to WAV files. To ²Û²
²Û² use the HD Recorder simply add HD Recorder Track ²Û²
²Û² machines in the studio, connect their input from ²Û²
²Û² synthesizers, effects, or a mixer, and connect the ²Û²
²Û² output to the Master machine. Then, go to the HD ²Û²
²Û² Recorder tab and choose the file to stream data to. To ²Û²
²Û² record a whole song, you can go to the sequencer and ²Û²
²Û² start auto-recording and playing the project's sequence ²Û²
²Û² by clicking the Record button on the toolbar. ²Û²
