Finding the optimal Surface design for a component has always been
challenging, particularly when the design and the conditions it must
accommodate are complex. 3Ci answered that challenge by developing
freeform surfaces that will knit into a solid with ease.
Solid modelers have been in use for years. However the ability to
construct freeform surfaces has been limited. GeometryWorks3D removes
those limitations by providing tools inside of SolidWorks2000 that
enable a design engineer to optimize the design process without ever
leaving SolidWorks.
GeometryWorks3D surfacing system is for use in the design and
manufacturing of products with complex surface shapes. It is
particularly well suited for use in the mold making industries,

curve projection, translations, and rotations are all accomplished
