         Û  Forward   Backwards   Smoothly   cross-fades  between  Û
         Û  forward and backward versions of the incoming audio    Û

         Û  Reverse  Repeat  Plays snippets  of  the input  audio  Û
         Û  backwards, twice. The  second time, a  slight vibrato  Û

         Û  Backwards Machine includes the following controls:     Û

         Û  REVERSER — This button controls whether you hear  the  Û
         Û  reversed  audio  (according  to  whichever  preset is  Û
         Û  selected)  or  the  original  (forwards)  audio.  The  Û
         Û  REVERSER button has  been deglitched to  avoid clicks  Û
         Û  when switching between forward and reverse playback.   Û
         Û                                                         Û
         Û  TIME — This slider controls the delay time; i.e., the  Û
         Û  length of each audio window ("snippet"). The  default  Û
         Û  is 2 seconds, which  tends to sound better  than very  Û
         Û  short or  very long  time settings.  The TIME control  Û
         Û  has been  deglitched to  avoid clicks  when adjusting  Û
         Û  the slider.                                            Û
         Û                                                         Û
         Û  FEEDBACK DEPTH — This  slider controls the amount  of  Û
         Û  feedback.  Often  feedback is  not  needed for  these  Û
         Û  effects, so the default is 0%.                         Û
         Û                                                         Û
         Û  WET MIX —  This slider controls  the loudness of  the  Û
         Û  Backwards (wet / effect) sound.                        Û
         Û                                                         Û
         Û  DRY MIX —  This slider allows  you to mix  in some of  Û
         Û  the (dry / non-effect)  input signal. Often you  will  Û
         Û  want to set this slider to 0% (the default), but this  Û
         Û  slider can be  used if you  want to hear  some of the  Û
         Û  forwards sound along with the backwards sound.         Û
