         Û  The SPL-IZER is an adjustable 3 band 24db per  octave  Û
         Û  FIR (Finite Impulse Response) frequency splitter that  Û
         Û  allows the three bands  to be isolated and  routed to  Û
         Û  aux or instrument tracks for separate processing. The  Û
         Û  use of  FIR filters  ensures that  no phase  shifting  Û
         Û  occurs at the frequency split points. With this tool,  Û
         Û  one can  use for  example ones  favorite single  band  Û
         Û  compressor (let's say uhm.. Dynam-izer) and make it 3  Û

         Û  There is of  course a myriad  of potential uses.  One  Û
         Û  use we found was to use the Spl-izer in front of  the  Û
         Û  reverb auxes. No reverb on the low end, the  original  Û
         Û  reverb on  the mid  section and  the same  reverb but  Û
         Û  with reduced decay on  the high end. Acoustic  rhythm  Û
         Û  guitar track run through the Spl-izer: low end muted,  Û
         Û  mid section straight through and a short echo/ chorus  Û
