Overview 
Just everyone has a webcam these days. It is great for video chat, and it can add some flare to your web site. However, the software which shipped with most of those little gadgets left a lot to be desired.

This may be surprising to a lot of people – a lot of those webcams ship with spyware and adware! It is very easy to verify. Download Adaware, and run it before and after the installation. The webcam hardware companies often bundle the software for free, and the software vendors have to find some way to make money, so we end up those annoying popup ads as the result.

Those software also do not provide a lot of flexibility and control over the recording. There is no control over the codec, file format and audio.

We built Cam Do to give the advanced users more power over their little cams. Specify the file format, codec, and quality. Specify where the audio is from. Specify which cam to record, if you have multiple.
