         Û  Simply put, if you  want a straightforward copy  of a  Û
         Û  Minimoog, with little to chew on besides the obvious,  Û
         Û  you might be  better off looking  elsewhere. However,  Û
         Û  if you want a Minimoog on steroids and with plenty of  Û
         Û  attitude the Minimonsta:Melohman is the emulation for  Û
         Û  you. Because, whereas until now the numerous Minimoog  Û
         Û  clones  have simply  attempted to  copy the  original  Û
         Û  instrument and add the  odd one or two  features such  Û
         Û  as polyphony and another LFO, the Minimonsta takes  a  Û
         Û  radically different look at this vintage masterpiece.  Û
         Û  The original instrument was manufactured between 1971  Û
         Û  and 1982 and  was an instant  classic thanks to  it's  Û
         Û  musician  friendly  logical  layout,  tactile   front  Û
         Û  panel,  warm  oscillators and  powerful  24dB lowpass  Û
         Û  filter. In it's time 13,000 were sold but in  keeping  Û
         Û  with many other classic instruments, if you want  one  Û
         Û  now, be prepared to pay handsomely. The Minimonsta is  Û
         Û  a  highly  detailed and  accurate  emulation of  this  Û
         Û  original  instrument  which operates  on  two levels.  Û
         Û  Firstly, on the Mini level you have all the  features  Û
         Û  and  sounds  of   the  Minimoog  including   accurate  Û
         Û  waveforms, a painstakingly accurate resonant  filter,  Û
         Û  snappy ADS envelope generators and the wonderful Mini  Û
         Û  loop-feedback function. Using just these  parameters,  Û
         Û  the Minimonsta  has a  huge tonal  range from  fat to  Û
         Û  fierce  and  from  searing  to  razor  sharp sizzles.  Û
         Û  However,  there  is  also another  dark  side  to the  Û
         Û  beast, and it's here's  where you can unleash  a full  Û
         Û  -on Monsta. Instead of being shackled to a single LFO  Û
         Û  as  per  the original  instrument,  it's possible  to  Û
         Û  assign an LFO to  almost any original Mini  parameter  Û
         Û  including   filter   cutoff,   resonance,  individual  Û
         Û  oscillator  volumes,  even  each  envelope parameter.  Û
         Û  What's more, each LFO  has several shapes, sync,  and  Û
         Û  delay. Additionally, for every parameter to which you  Û
         Û  can  apply an  LFO, it's  also possible  to apply  an  Û
         Û  extra ADSR  too. Then  there's the  ability to assign  Û
         Û  MIDI  modulation to  any original  Mini parameter  an  Û
         Û  create  effects  such  as  dynamic  glide  times   or  Û
         Û  velocity  response  to  filter  (both  positive   and  Û
         Û  negative). Put simply, the scope for sound design and  Û
         Û  sonic creativity is limitless.  And as if that's  not  Û
         Û  enough,  you  can  dynamically  morph  between twelve  Û
         Û  patches  within  a Meta-Patch  thanks  to the  unique  Û
         Û  Melohman  octave.  This   takes  a  static   software  Û
         Û  instrument and adds  serious performance and  dynamic  Û
         Û  real-time control - a boon to those real players  out  Û
         Û  there.  There are  many Mini  clones out  there, but   Û
