Creative ALchemy
Provides multi-channel audio for legacy game titles running on
Windows Vista
The removal of the Vendor Extension mechanism from Windows
Vista's DirectSound implementation will compromise audio in
certain legacy game titles that use EAX or DirectSound3D (DS3D),
usually resulting in stereo output without any effects.
Creative ALchemy is a powerful tool that restores the audio for a
DirectSound3D game running on Windows Vista to its former glory -
in full surround sound with hardware accelerated audio mixing,
sampling rate conversion and EAX effects.
Go to the Videos section and check out the videos of some games
that have great audio in Windows XP. They demonstrate how the
audio quality is seriously compromised under Windows Vista, and
just what a difference Creative ALchemy makes for these titles.

Install ALAD_PCVTAPP_LB_1_00_5.exe. After installation copy
precracked exe and dll into Creative ALchemy's installed folder,
making sure to overwrite the existing files. Launch Creative
ALchemy and enjoy the sound you should have in games with Vista.
*NOTE*:
You may find some EAX supported games are not shown in the
supported games list, but you can still try manually adding the
game to the profiler or copying the dsound.dll and dsound.ini
(copy ini from another game) to your game folder and it might
just work. Also note you may need to adjust the Buffers and
Duration if you have problems with sound for that game.
