Û Û On 18 June 1815, south of the small Belgian hamlet Û Û
Û Û Waterloo in what was then the Kingdom of the Û Û
Û Û Netherlands, occurred one of the most decisive battles Û Û
Û Û of history. Napoleon Bonaparte hoped to destroy the Û Û
Û Û coalition armies arrayed against him by means of a Û Û
Û Û quick, decisive campaign. His plan was to defeat in Û Û
Û Û detail each of his main antagonists, the Anglo-Allied Û Û
Û Û army under Field Marshal the Duke of Wellington, and the Û Û
Û Û Prussian army under Generalfeldmarschall Gebhard Û Û
Û Û Leberecht Fuerst Bluecher von Wahlstatt. While this Û Û
Û Û campaign encompassed several months of the spring and Û Û
Û Û summer of 1815, and ranged all along the wide flung Û Û
Û Û frontiers of France, the four days of the Waterloo Û Û
Û Û campaign, from the crossing of the Netherlands border by Û Û
Û Û Napoleon’s Armée du Nord on 15 June, the indecisive Û Û
Û Û actions at Quatres Bras, Ligny and Wavre, and the Û Û
Û Û disastrous French defeat at the hands of the combined Û Û
Û Û Anglo-Allied and Prussian armies on 18 June, decided the Û Û
Û Û fate of the emperor, and by implication, the Empire. But Û Û
Û Û now you have the opportunity to take command in this Û Û
Û Û great campaign and change the course of history. Û Û

Û Û Waterloo contains some sixty scenarios. These include Û Û
Û Û the major actions of the campaign, such as the battles Û Û
Û Û of Quatres Bras and Waterloo itself, as well as several Û Û
Û Û hypothetical actions based on alternative approach Û Û
Û Û marches. Several of these scenarios place the entire Û Û
Û Û French Army against both the Anglo-Allies and the Û Û
Û Û Prussians for one grand battle of annihilation. Û Û

Û Û Units represent historical regiments, battalions, Û Û
Û Û skirmisher companies and artillery batteries, as well as Û Û
Û Û all major leaders and unit commanders. Players can view Û Û
Û Û units in several different modes, including 3-D Û Û

Û Û symbols. Each map hex is 100 meters across, and each Û Û
Û Û turn averages 15 minutes of real time. Players can Û Û
