SPOOLGEN
Automatic Isometrics for
Fabrication and Construction
SPOOLGEN is a system designed specifically for use by fabricators and
has workflow management built in as standard, ensuring maximum
productivity with minimal effort.
Using simple probing functionality, users add fabrication and
construction information to electronic IDF or PCF data files delivered
from their engineering design contractor, without the need for
redrafting or the re-entry of material data. Spools are defined by the
probing in of field weld positions.
SPOOLGEN then automatically produces the required number of spool
isometrics for pipe fabrication in the fabrication workshop, and
construction isometrics for pipe erection in the plant.
Extensive project use worldwide has identified quantifiable savings in
terms of piping man-hours, piping manufacturing costs, project
schedules, rework and construction errors.
Many of the features and benefits of I-Sketch are applicable to
SPOOLGEN, as ISOGEN is an integral part of the solution.
