ESDi allows you to talk to one, or more people, at the same time via your PC.
ESDi is an intercom program for Windows 95 or better. Anyone with a PC
running windows, audio input source (e.g. microphone/ CD/ mono mix etc), spea
kers/headset, and a local area network (LAN) connection, should be
able to use this application. Being trialware you can download the trial
version and try it for free. The only difference between the full version
and the trial version is a time limit - 100 hours use. If the trial
version works then so will the full version.
Each person has their own ID (e.g. Marketing - Joe). This allows others
to call Joe directly. Everyone is part of a group known as 'BROADCAST'.
Finally, Joe can belong to up to 9 custom groups. These groups allow
people working in same department, or on the same project etc, to interact
with each other without disturbing others.
