 I-deas NX Series, along with the recently released NX™ 4, is part of

New Multi-CAD Capabilities
I-deas 12 NX Series features new capabilities for working in a multi-CAD 
environment.  This release leverages UGS’ JT Open proven lightweight 
format for data sharing among various CAD applications.  New capabilities 
include: measure to underlying precise geometry, measure to facet 
point/line/plane, align instance, create sections, attach product and 
manufacturing information (PMI), create constraints, and plot/print instances.

Versprille.  “With the release of I-deas 12 NX Series and a number of 
JT-oriented enhancements, UGS is demonstrating the ability to mix
