    As the foundation of the WebTrends Marketing Lab, WebTrends Analytics 8 gives
    you the actionable metrics you need to show how online spend translate into
    growth and profitability for your company.

   INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Unzip, Unrar and run WebTrends8.exe

    2. Go to where you decompressed it and run edge.exe

       NOTE: Do not run setup.exe or the .msi before you have executed
             edge.exe atleast once to rebuild the Data.Cab file!

    3. Make sure you are disconnected or blocking with firewall when installing
       and activating this software, or refer to the P.S. section for information
       on how to block with with an entry to /etc/hosts.

    4. Use the keygen to generate a serial to install. Note the higher the
       edition, the higher the system requirements.

    5. Run WebTrends and enter the serial again into the field and press submit.

    6. Save the license.htm activation file and use the keygen to generate
       your licensechange.txt.

    7. Copy licensechange.txt to the WebTrends installation folder, e.g.
       c:\Program Files\WebTrends.

    8. Click on the Activate button in WebTrends to complete product activation.

    P.S. Remember to block potential requests to the webtrends.com website with
    your firewall, or add the following entry to win/system32/drivers/etc/hosts

    127.0.0.1       license.webtrends.com
