      Observe this error when running the DVT patcher named "patch.exe":

      Observe the System Requirements from the game's README.TXT file:

      Windows 98, Me, XP
      266 MHz processor or faster
      ....

      Why is it that the DVT patcher will only work on 1 of those 3 Operating 
      Systems (Windows XP)?

      This violates accepted scene rules and policies.  A release must function 
      properly on all OS that the application supports.  And really, it is not 
      hard to do so anyway, if you care enough to properly code your utilities 
      and take the time to test that they function correctly.

      That error occurs for Win 9x Kernel users.  Maybe it also happens on 
      Win2k as well?  I don't know.  Regardless, their patcher is not properly 
      coded, and we have complained about this very many times in the past.  
      The TNT release will run flawlessly for everyone in the scene on any OS 
      the game supports.  This is what you call a "WORKING" or "PROPER" release.


      Note to DVT
      -----------
      A compliment to DVT from TNT!  Yes, quite a shock to see coming from a 
      group like TNT.  Trust me, this is about as close as TNT can get to being 
      nice, even though it may not sound 100% favorable.  

      Congratulations to DVT for fixing their crack methods on TryMedia 
      ActiveMark.  That is some fine work on creating fully reversed 
      executables with decryption of the protected files.  And they also run on 
      all Windows OS's (well as long as you don't include that broken-ass 
      patcher utility), which was extremely shocking to me (considering the 
      humongous number of broken ActiveMark releases by DVT that we had to 
      PROPER in the past).

      Ok, so weed out all of the slightly insulting remarks above, and what's 
      left is basically a compliment.  So enjoy it, because we don't give those 
      out very often.

      PS: Deer_Drive_v1.0_Cracked-TNT = we know how to decrypt those protected 
                                        files as well.

   Always unRAR with full paths!

3. Install the program by executing:
   SETUP.EXE from the SETUP\ directory.

   overwriting any existing files.

5. Run the program.  If enjoyment is experienced, then buy the program!
