Notes:-

After a very large headache i decided to rip this data and put it into a managable form (MySQL)
this comes in use for webmasters and database designers / engineers and software implementers.
Also it is very very expensive to buy (nearly £2850 GBP for all of the data).

Included:-
Database Inc Structure (postcodes.sql)

Requirements:-
Mysql DB access with shell access to insert the database using mysql command.
Hard Drive space + 4.3gb or so. (UNPACKED)
I also recommend turning off or moving the mysql logging Dir as it gets very full and will slow the insert down , turn it back on afterwards!!
Usage and Import Instructions:
tar xvfz postcodes.tar.gz
create a database on the comamnd line or in phpMyAdmin.
run this from the command line (DO NOT TRY TO IMPORT THIS INSIDE PHPMYADMIN OR USING ANY PHP SCRIPTS ... IT WILL NOT WORK BELIEVE ME IVE TRIED!!)
mysql -u USER -p DBNAME < postcodes.sql
Sit back and wait !! it will take a while :P
