 ³º  control and questionable physics will leave everyone else in the      º ³
 ³º  cold. While there's some fun to be had with Colin McRae and pals,     º ³

 ³º  resources, allowing the game to chug along at a fair clip, provided   º ³
 ³º  you avoid crashing long enough to reach top speed. The sprite that    º ³
 ³º  represents your car is nicely drawn and looks fine at various turn    º ³
 ³º  angles. You'll drive on several distinct surfaces while surrounded    º ³
 ³º  by homogenous flora and nondescript backgrounds that are meant to     º ³
 ³º  represent your location. You'll know you're in England, for           º ³
 ³º  instance, when you're racing toward a big castle, because that's      º ³
 ³º  what England specializes in--castles.                                 º ³
 ³º  The game's sound is also quite good. It's fairly minimal, but         º ³
 ³º  that's often a virtue, given the grating nature of many Series 60     º ³
 ³º  soundtracks. Impressively, the sound of your tires skidding will      º ³
 ³º  change depending on a track's composition. Skidding on gravel         º ³
 ³º  sounds especially believable, for example.                            º ³
