BitComet is prolly the best bittorrent client around but has recently been
banned from some private bittorrent trackers for sharing peers over them.
New version 0.58 gives users the choice to enable or disable that feature,
but will it be enough to convince tracker owners of unbanning BitComet or
will BitComet author have to implement more security like the new Azureus
did (see http://azureus.aelitis.com/wiki/index.php/SecureTorrents) ?
In the meanwhile we want to go on using our beloved BitComet. So here are
2 peerID spoofing patches that make BitComet announce itself as other fa-
mous bittorrent clients : BitTornado v0.3.12 or official BitTorrent v4.0.1
-> No more ban for BitComet!
WARNING: our patches target the BitComet version for Windows 2K/XP ONLY!
but who is masochist enough to run a p2p proggie on Windows 9x ?
NOTE: our former patches for version 0.57 were not flawless and therefore
detected by some trackers, whereas these brandnew ones are mimicking
peerIDs as similarly as possible (even KAA tracker accepts them! ;)

2) apply one patch only, either BitComet_0.58_BitTornado_spoofing_patch or
BitComet_0.58_BitTorrent_spoofing_patch according to your preference
3) have phun and don't forget to go on seeding after completing leeching!
