   AMOK proudly presents 'The Synthetical Dream Foundation's' latest
   2006 release 'Tendrils of Pretty.' This German band specializing in
   dark atmsopheric music for art and film presents a soundscape with
   this 2006 releases filled with a wide range of ambient, classical,
   electronic, trance, and experimental sounds. Any listener will be
   amazed at how each track on this composition has an intricate
   balance of rythms and beats strong enough to create pictures of
   mental imagery inside his/her mind. The Synthetical Dream Foundation
   truly has its own lovely sound but at times the music reminds me of
   intoxicating, diverse atmosphere "Dead Can Dance" or the dark,
   fetish electronic sounds of "Die Form."

   "The synthetic dream foundation has been one of the most successful
   independent, electronic musicians over the past several years, so we
   are pleased to be a part of this artist's groundbreaking career by
   offering their first official release as the first signing to our
   label. The synthetic dream foundation quickly came to the forefront
   of the electro industrial scene by maintaining the number one
   industrial song on mp3.com for an entire year straight during its
   last year of existence as an independent musicians resource (2002).
   This fortunate and well deserved exposure brought the staff at
   Mythical Records its first glimpses of this emerging and upcoming
   artist. Since then, TSDF has steadily grown in stature, and has
   released many singles on compilations by labels such as 4AD,
   Alfa-matrix, Twisted Records, and has scored several sucessful,
   independent films. The project is classically trained and has a
   devoted appetite for conjuring some of the darkest clouds of sound
   we have ever experienced. Having just been formed in 2001, the
   composer has gardened a pallete of sound which is comparable to the
   glittering of phosphorescent life on the bottom of a cold, blackened
   sea. From harsh, brooding, mechanical beats to dreamy classical
   piano, and ambient masterworks which shift through and absorb cold,
   alien landscapes. TSDF is not limited by any single genre, but
   instead rather compelled by the infinite possibilities electronic
   advancements bestow upon the musical art form.
   One of the main things which distinguishes the sound created by TSDF
   from other electronic artists is the fact that all the beats and
   melodies are actually performed on instruments and not “programmed”
   or “produced” like most industrial and electronic artists do on a
   computer. The subtle nuances that actual performance embews a piece
   of music with can be heard, making all the compositions less cold,
   and more emotional than typical electronic works."
